Or you could just grab a copy of Camping Washington, 2nd edition and find what you’re looking for—not too big, not too small, not too rustic, or more rustic than not—in a couple of minutes, vetted and recommended by a true expert with strong opinions. And while, yes, there probably is an app for that, sometimes a book is just better (no page loading, no scrolling, no password).
This popular guidebook reviews and rates each campground so you’ll know exactly what to expect, including useful details on campsite surfaces, degree of privacy, best and worst sites in a given campground, and nearby hikes, fishing spots, and other attractions.

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 10 days of purchase with receipt, and the item(s) must be in unworn/unused condition with tags attached if applicable. Returns will be issued in the form of store credit/ gift card.
Seasonal/ Holiday merchandise, food and beverage items, jewelry, sale and clearance items are non-refundable. No exceptions.
Order online but picking up in store? You have 14 days to pick up and return the items for a refund. This offers you a few days to pick up the item. We will hold your order for as long as possible but please note that after the 14 day grace period it's not available for returns. After 30 days, consider it a donation.
